For the month of September, MHS students are studying about American pop artist Keith Haring. His artwork inspired many people and always displayed iconic symbols. In music class, students are studying the infamous musical genius duo, Rodgers and Hammerstein. We are discussing and viewing video clips of their work from the Sound of Music and The King and I. Students are also learning about Broadway and its significance and history. The first Headliners practice was this past week. It was terrific to see so many 4th and 5th graders show up for practice!
